The University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management has established a new $50 million scholarship fund that will provide increased support for women and underrepresented students, creating about $2.25 million in scholarships annually.

Named in honor of the school’s centennial, the Carlson Centennial Scholars Program will award recurring, renewable scholarships to at least 75 students each year. Eligible students will be selected by the Carlson School based on a variety of factors, including academic merit, diversity and financial need. Students in the Centennial Scholars Program will also receive specialized programming and a stipend to help cover the cost of the Carlson School’s study-abroad requirement.

The relationship between the Carlson Family Foundation and the University of Minnesota has spanned four generations of the Carlson family, and we remain committed to our belief that the success of the University is closely intertwined with the success of all Minnesotans. The Carlson Family Foundation is proud to support the Centennial Scholars Program, which will carry forward our mission of elevating the University and providing opportunities for its best and brightest students.
