Distinguished Carlson Lecture Series to feature an evening with Liz Cheney

Former Wyoming Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney will be the next speaker in the Distinguished Carlson Lecture Series, a forum that brings world-renowned speakers to Minnesota to spark conversations that contribute to the intellectual life of the greater Twin Cities community.

The Humphrey School of Public Affairs has presented the Distinguished Carlson Lecture Series for nearly four decades. With support from Carlson and the Carlson Family Foundation, the forum is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the most important policy issues of the day. It embodies the Foundation’s commitment to fostering diverse perspectives and meaningful dialogue on critical issues.

Cheney will discuss her personal experiences in politics, the importance of women representation in government, and the significance of bipartisanship in today’s political climate. Her lecture will be followed by a Q&A moderated by Tane Danger, host of The Theater of Public Policy.
