New Research Article Outlines a 10-Year Vision for Human Trafficking Research

A newly published research article presents a 10-year vision for advancing human trafficking research in the United States. Led by Dr. Lauren Martin from the University of Minnesota and developed through a national convening of researchers, practitioners, policymakers, government partners, and individuals with lived experience, the article outlines research priorities that strengthen prevention, improve long-term support for survivors, and inform policy and practice.

The recommendations emphasize community-centered, action-oriented research that is developed in partnership with those most affected by trafficking, with the goal of creating practical, lasting impact for individuals, families, and communities.
