Carlson Family Foundation supports startups through the MN Cup
The Carlson Family Foundation is proud to sponsor the MN Cup, a community-led public-private partnership supporting Minnesotan entrepreneurs through an annual competition, mentorship and other opportunities.
This year we were happy to sponsor two divisions of the competition, with awards going to Minnesota startups Harvest Nation and Busy Baby.
Harvest Nation is a startup owned by four Anishinaabeg Ikweg (Indigenous women) that serves northern Minnesota by providing fresh produce to communities challenged by location, climate and economic constraint. The company was awarded the prize for best veteran-led startup.
Busy Baby, based in Oronoco, makes placemats and teething toys for babies. It was recognized as the best woman-led startup.
