Youth Voices Lead the Way in 2026 Youth Participatory Grantmaking Opportunity
At the Carlson Family Foundation, we believe young people should have a voice in shaping the decisions that impact their lives and communities.
Through our Youth Participatory Grantmaking (YPG) program, local youth step into the role of grant makers. They identify the issues that matter most to them, develop the grant application, review submissions, and recommend funding to organizations creating opportunity, hope, and a sense of belonging for young people across our community.
The Foundation is now accepting applications for the 2026 Youth Participatory Grantmaking opportunity. Selected organizations may receive grants of up to $20,000 to support work advancing equity and opportunity for youth.
More than a grantmaking process, YPG recognizes young people as leaders today. By bringing their lived experiences, identities, values, and vision to the table, youth help direct resources toward the solutions and organizations they believe will create meaningful change.
